Meet Dr. Alyssa Kurth
Dr. Alyssa Kurth was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. She attended both St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI and Lancaster University in the U.K. to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She was involved in several research studies and published during her time there, graduating with Summa cum Laude honors.
The Gonstead Technique
Dr. Alyssa Kurth then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she graduated as her class Valedictorian. During this time she also chose to specialize in the Gonstead Technique for its superior level of specificity and extensive clinical research. The Gonstead Technique harmoniously blends both the neurological as well as biomechanical aspects of the human frame. The Gonstead Technique is one of the few chiropractic techniques available to Chiropractors that takes both aspects into account, and for this reason requires extensive clinical training outside of the classroom. Dr. Alyssa Kurth was accepted into the Troxell Intern Program early on in her chiropractic education to learn from the best mentors in the country!
After attending Palmer, Dr. Alyssa Kurth worked at LaBounty Family Chiropractic in Ankeny, IA. Dr. Michael LaBounty served to be an immeasurable mentor to Dr. Alyssa Kurth, for which she will always be grateful.
Outside the Office
Today, Dr. Alyssa feels privileged to serve the people of Wilsonville and its surrounding areas. While out of the office, Dr. Alyssa spends her time teaching, studying and researching pediatrics, nutrition and the Gonstead technique. She also enjoys reading, cooking, exercising, and spending quality time outdoors with her dog Arrow.
